Overview

Sensed explores how music can be experienced through emotion, memory, and personal meaning rather than consumption alone. The project investigates new ways of translating emotional responses into visual and interactive experiences.

1.RESEARCH AND INSPIRATION

SKETCHES EXPLORATION

Early sketches exploring how music, emotion, memory, and sensory experiences could be translated into interactive interfaces, visual systems, and digital experiences.

FINAL PRODUCT

Problem:Most music platforms prioritize discovery and engagement. While people often associate songs with memories, feelings, and experiences, there are few ways to capture or express those connections.

Approach:Through interviews, research synthesis, and design exploration, we identified recurring relationships between music, emotion, memory, color, and imagery. These insights informed a series of concepts, wireframes, and prototypes.

Outcome:Developed a high-fidelity prototype that explored music as a tool for reflection and self-expression. The experience focused on capturing emotional interpretation rather than listening behavior.

Reflection:This project reinforced my interest in designing systems that help people communicate experiences that are often difficult to describe through traditional interfaces.
